Horse Neck Kentucky Bourbon Cookies

Horse Neck Kentucky Bourbon Cookies

When we started in early 2024, we had two chocolate chip cookies and one oatmeal raisin cookie.  After we attended the Texas Forever Festival in Plano, we had a total of six distilleries and fourteen different cookies.

Our goal was always to work with people who were passionate about their products and were willing to work with us.  We didn't want to just pull bottles off the shelf.  It has always been about promoting the spirits and the companies behind them as much as it has been about selling cookies.  If you've seen us as any of our events, you know that we talk about companies behind our products and you've seen their bottles proudly displayed on our tables.  We love telling our customers about these companies and about the people behind the products that we put into our cookies.

Last November, we had a booth at the Plano Food and Wine Festival.  We met some wonderful people; customers, fellow vendors, event organizers, police officers.  It was an amazing experience.  During the event, we had the chance to meet Jim and Darren from Horse Neck Kentucky Bourbon  Their passion for their products was immediately obvious and after several conversations, we just knew that we wanted to work with them.

We have had a Kentucky bourbon cookie since the beginning, but it was always an unnamed bourbon.  We tried to find a good company we could work with, but there are so many in Kentucky and it seems like so many of them are just faceless corporations who just referred us to lawyers or some corporate department.  But these guys are different.  The passion that they have for bourbon in general and their product specifically is very refreshing.  Read more about their story on their website.

The cookies made with Horse Neck Kentucky Bourbon have a little bit of a rye spice to them, along with some toasted oak and a nice subtle nuttiness with almond and walnut.  The sherry finish provides a nice background flavor and sweetness that makes this a truly unique cookie.

Check it out, we would love to share this unique cookie with you.
