It has been a very busy weekend for us, but we are adding three new cookies that we are very excited about.
First up is a unique twist on our Rum Raisin Oatmeal cookies.
These cookies are made with Pecan Street Rum from Spirit of Texas Bewstillery in Pfugerville, Texas. We've been looking at this rum for our cookies since February and are very excited to be able to add them to our list of products. The distinct flavor of the Texas pecans is immediately obvious the moment you open the package, and the nuts add a unique sweetness. If you like Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Texas pecans, you don't want to miss this. Like all of our Oatmeal Raisin cookies, these are made with three kinds of raisins.

Next up is Baby Blue Blue Corn Whisky Cookies with Chocolate Chips from Balcones Distilling in Waco, Texas.
There is just something unique about blue corn and this whiskey definitely does not disappoint. The blue corn is a nice twist on corn whiskey and the flavors really come through in this chocolate chip cookie. The aromas are immediately obvious when you open the package. Of course, we included the usual two kinds of chocolate chips in the cookies.
Last, but certainly not least, are cookies made with Brimstone Whisky.
This is another whiskey from Balcones Distilling and we pulled out all of the stops on this cookie. This whiskey is a blue corn whiskey that is smoked with Texas scrub oak. We couldn't just pair this with any chocolate chip cookie. We had to add more chocolate to match the flavors and then we added some dried cherries to amp this up even more. What you get is a cookie that is loaded with flavor from the whiskey and looks like it has just a little bit of fire peeking out from the inside.
